Season Notes: There was no more efficient player than Spaghetti Ramen’s veteran point guard this season. He led the league in points per game and FG% (a stunning feat from the PG position). He was also Top 5 in assists. But more importantly, when his team needed him most, that’s when he was at his best, leading SPR to their 3rd straight title.
Season Notes: When you have the league’s best player and best defender on the same team, you usually do pretty well for yourself. There may not be any more physically fit player than Hahn, and even fighting off injuries all season, he managed to change games completely with a seemingly pathological commitment to defense.
Runner-up: (C) Dan Tak (DYN) 9.2 rpg, 1 spg, 1.8 bpg, 1.4 fpg
Position: SF Seasons: 2
The Sam Lo Hustle Award
CARSON YIU (STINKY TOFU)
Statistics: 18.7 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 2.4 spg, 0.3 bpg
Season Notes: There is no one who can honestly say they play harder than Yiu. There are few players who look as if the team should have an oxygen tank waiting for him at every time-out, Yiu is one of them. I’m not really sure what “balls to the wall” actually means, but somehow I know it applies to how this man plays basketball.
Season Notes: The Freemasons saw a lot of turnaround on their roster this season from last, but they posted their best record yet with a 4-3 finish. That is due to Wong, who in is first season, carried this team by doing everything a player can do on the court to help his team win.
