Win ’20 Week 6 Power Rankings (Sundays)

Friday, Feb 28, 2020

⬆️ 1) United Nations (5-1): Five straight wins and the defending champs are back atop the D2 power rankings. (G) Marcus Cook is the presumptive back-to-back M.O.P.

⬆️ 2) Spaghetti Ramen (5-0): Still haven’t played a Top 5 team somehow, but (F) Michael Reding is having a resurgent season as the team’s only resemblance to a big.

⬇️ 3) The Lizards (4-2): Liz have been 4-1 since an embarrassing season opener. With all their depth and size, they’re holding position as a top contender come playoff time.

⬇️ 4) X-Clan (4-2): Despite 1-2 in last three, Clan still dangerous.
⬇️ 5) 50 Shades of Klay (4-2): Each loss by a possession, they’re right there.
⬆️ 6) Raining Rosebuds (1-5): (G) Daren Seto back. Buds a very interesting dark horse now.
⬇️ 7) No Fly Zone (2-4): Veteran unit needs (F) Kieran Brennan to get hot.
⬆️ 8) Thank U, Next (1-5): Looking better lately, need good showing heading into playoffs.
⬇️ 9) Keep That Same Energy (1-5): With all these 3s going up, they need to heat up asap.

🔁 1) OMB (5-1): All seven players on the roster are almost averaging double figures. Anything short of a blowout championship win is an utter failure for this stacked, veteran squad.

⬆️ 2) TAP NY (5-1): With (F) Kenny Liu taking on a progressively bigger role, and (C) Jordan Calhoun coming on, TAP are arguably the hottest team in D3 having won five straight.

⬇️ 3) Swish Cheese (3-2): Big losses to OMB and TAP have been discouraging, but the Swish are still in the championship mix with (F) Michael Clifton emerging as one of D3’s top players.

🔁 4) Bucket Boys (4-2): All the pieces are there, this is your dark horse right here.
🔁 5) Ice In My Veins (4-2): Fun team to watch, (F) Richard Tam low-key M.O.P. nom.
🔁 6) Airballers (2-3): Solid season, but maybe not enough top-end talent to contend.
🔁 7) Ball Is Life (1-4): Losing their big man hurt, Ballers were looking to make a run.
🔁 8) Goon Squad (1-5): Shout out to (C) Raghu Vaidyanathan having a legendary season.
🔁 9) The Handsome Boys (0-6): Tough debut season, but def pieces to work with going fwd.
